Veracruz Vibrations in lotus position

I love a naturally cut stone, and this Veracruz Amethyst does not disappoint. Capped in silver, this mini lavender crystal is great for connecting and opening the third eye and crown chakras - supporting your inner guide, vision and perception. It is a mega gentle stone - light, beautiful and peaceful. It runs at a higher vibration to most other Amethyst and is great for maintaining a beta state. Amethyst's in general are meditative, calming stones which work in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to promote calm, balance, and peace. It is also used to eliminate impatience. The crystals name comes from the Greek word 'amethustos', meaning non-drunk. In ancient Greece they made cups from the purple stone, believing that drinking from it, could prevent you from becoming inebriated. 

I've paired this stone with a bronze hand. The fingers represent the five elements within us: the thumb represents the fire, as well as universal consciousness; the index finger represents air and individual consciousness; the middle finger represents akasha, or connection; the ring finger represents earth, and the little finger the element of water. 

Both crystal and hand hang off a vintage fob, attached with what I've been thinking of as a 'little buddha' figure in meditation. The whole amulet sits on a silver 925 chain, attached with a magnetic clasp. The chain drop 31 cm, total drop 42 cm.
