A vintage stirling silver rollo chain with a Carnelian tab paired with a hand poured bronze talisman. The talisman is engraved, with a protective sigil (showing us how to transmute negitive energy and block psychic attacks). Together they form a comfortable weight around you neck. I also think they're very pleasing together - something to hold, figit or absorb.
Carnelian is one of the oldest stones known to human hands. Ranging from pale amber to deep blood-orange, it has been carried as a talisman across civilisations for thousands of years - worn by Egyptian pharaohs, set into Roman signet rings, tucked into the clothing of warriors before battle.
Its properties are those of fire held gently in the earth. A stone of courage and action, carnelian is said to sharpen the will, quiet fear, and unlock creative expression. It is also a stone of protection - worn close to the skin, it was believed to shield against ill intent and draw in what truly serves.
Paired with bronze, it finds its natural companion. Bronze carries the memory of making - darkening with age, deepening with handling, developing a patina entirely its own. The engraving fixes intention into metal that will outlast the hand that made it.
