The peridot is often called the 'evening emerald,' or as the Egyptians like to call it, ‘Gem of the Sun’. Always associated with light, it has a luminous sparkle in all light, even under candlelight. It has been used for centuries in many cultures, Cleopatra VII loved it, as did the Romans. Known as a stone of renewal and vitality, it has long been associated with prosperity, growth, and clarity of mind. The Egyptians felt it to be a a gem of healing and often lined their cups with it so ‘drink up’ its properties. 

For me, I find it a peaceful lucky gem and that links deeply with the heart and solar plexus. Like a moderator who turns up to the meeting with a puppy 💚
