This antique brass carnelian fob amulet is paired with a Celtic Bronze Age coin, ready for your chain.

Victorians were fascinated carnelian fobs, not only for their aesthetic beauty but also for their symbolic meaning. As they were found predominantlyin the UK (rugged terrains of Scotland), they garnered heightened admiration during the reign of Queen Victoria, who championed their popularity.

The Celtic Bronze Age hoop dates back to around 700 BC, and were once used as a form of ancient currency. I’ve loved sourcing them through mudlarkers, collectors, and other guardians of history. This particular bronze ring, from the Celtic Iron Age, was found in the Midlands and comes from a Staffordshire collection, adding both authenticity and depth to the piece.

I've kept this piece simple, but I would highly recommend adding to this piece with your own talismanic choices!
