Western Hemlock

A sterling silver buried band with weathered wood and tiny CZ.

This one hits a little different. This piece is composed of a piece of bark I found in the Hoh Rainforest, on the North West coast of America a few years ago.  It is somewhere I have spent a lot of time. My childhood is drenched in the smells of its moss, Spruce, Redcedar, and Coast Douglas-fir. 

The wood has been in my personal collection for a while, until I was drawn to cleanse it, anoint with oils and add a small CZ and offer it back into the world.A sterling silver buried band sits at the top, a beautifully raw band which is hand-forged, egg-patina oxidized, lightly polished, and totally unique so you can hang a chain. This is a really special talisman.
