A one-off sterling silver hand with a blue sapphire squished into a nugget of silver. A delicate drop of magick. I love the hardiness of blue sapphires, symbolically associated with wisdom, truth, and inner calm. Across cultures, they have represented integrity, loyalty, and protection. Spiritually, sapphire is believed to quiet the mind, sharpen insight, encourage honest communication, and guide you as you travel in other realms. A dazzling aid in astral projection, telepathy, and clairvoyance, and it’s a stunning stone!
And of course, many of you know my carved Hands of Truth are an integral item of Smith & Sun. For this one, I poured it in loyal, calm silver. I think energetically it pairs really well with sapphires. The fingers on the hand embody the five elements that shape both the world and ourselves.
The thumb represents fire, the spark of creation and universal consciousness.
The index finger embodies air, the element of intellect and individual awareness.
The middle finger channels akasha, or ether, the space of connection and spirit.
The ring finger grounds us in earth, offering stability and presence.
And the little finger flows with water, the realm of emotion, intuition, and adaptability.
