A multi-chain vintage piece with a bronze hand and a silver cicada with a silver buried band clasp. 

The chain of this piece is composed of four different types of vintage chains: predominantly sterling silver and one mixed alloy gold plate.

The hand is cast in bronze, a metal known to increase the potency of your ritual and it possesses a unique beauty that is recognised by many cultures, including being on of the earliest metals for forging mirrors. It is also a great metal for leos, and associated with gemini and virgo. 

In many cultures Cicadas symbolise; rebirth, transformation, adaptability the emergence of the true self and the cycles of life. After years underground, they emerge, shed their shells exuviae ( their old self), and sing — representing renewal, awakening, and the power of timing - magical timing and I think communication with maybe the spiritual realm.. I think  of the as emblems of immortality, resilience, and self-expression. Small and mighty and full of magic. I really could go on . I’ll stop.
