Murklins means 'in the darkness', though the word is now considered obsolete, with its last recorded use around the 1800s. The word was used to describe activities or actions occurring in the darkness.

It is then, a perfect word for this life-long ritual item we have created. This matchbox is hand carved and stamped with astrological symbols.
