Magick Moldavite

A beautiful piece of angel chime moldavite (4.10grams) from Malý Chlum (Czech Republic) which I've paired with this sterling silver plate that has been hand stamped with astral symbols and hanging off a vintage sterling silver chain. But this amulet is just all about this tektite!

It's the largest piece I've ever got hold of, so I know it's expensive (the stone was £300 alone) - I was nervous setting it, so added the back plate for piece of mind, so it could be more of a daily wear. There are a few claws holding it in, as well as a drop of resin at the back to keep it safe.  

You already know I'm a bit mad for Moldavites but have only gotten my mitts on a few so far as they are rare! Moldavite is a rare green tektite formed from a meteorite impact, carrying the energy of transformation and cosmic origin. It truly is cosmic magick. Known as a stone of profound change, it is said to accelerate personal growth, clear energetic blockages, and open pathways to higher awareness. With its high-vibration energy linked to the heart, third-eye, and crown chakras, Moldavite encourages clarity, emotional release, and spiritual insight. Wearing or meditating with it can bring fresh perspectives, synchronicity, and a sense of alignment, making it a powerful companion for anyone seeking deep inner evolution.

A note on this stone: it has intense energy, so it’s recommended to start using it in short sessions, as its rapid, transformative nature can feel overwhelming for some. I personally love it - it was a piece of Moldavite I bought in Glastonbury that first sparked the beginnings of Smith & Sun. It’s also often used in past-life work.

It can be helpful to pair Moldavite with grounding stones like black tourmaline, hematite, or smoky quartz, especially when you first begin working or wearing it. I’ve never experienced the “craziness” sometimes associated with it, though a friend of mine did come off a motorbike while wearing my Moldavite piece for the first time - so it’s wise to tread lightly.
