A Mongolian green Prase Quartz with Hedenbergite and Actinolite. Long and gentle, this Laser Wand crystal hosts an overgrowth of smaller quartz crystals all around the prism, giving this piece serious elestial bling cred.

This crystal was bought from a gem specialist in Washington State, I bought only 3 peices from his collection as they were a bit expensive — he'd probably be mortified that I have made this perfect specimen into a wearable hehe! I've capped it in sterling silver, and it would hang wonderfully off a round curb or rolo chain.

Named after a mountain in Mongolia — located in the Altai Mountains — Khüiten Peak is part of the Tavan Bogd massif, the Five Sacred Peaks. Tavan Bogd is treated as sacred ground, representing powerful guardian spirits and deities of the high mountains.

This protective stone holds very nurturing energy. I have sat with this stone for a few years and found it very calming for the heart, I think it would make a great talisman for someone working in activism or with community — it's grounding, an exceptional emotional healer as well as a teacher, aiding in translating information in such a way that those receiving it may understand.

Note: Actinolite is a form of asbestos, but because the mineral is dissolved in the quartz solution during formation, it's totally totally safe. Actinolite is said to help release heavy emotions and promote inner peace, but I haven't worked with it beyond this particular stone.
