Sterling silver hands with an embedded opal. These stunning opals were gifted from my aunt, who lives in Perth (Oz), for opening the Stella in May, and are very limited. It would be great on a chain as a stand alone piece or added in on your own bundle of amulets.
Opal, a stone born of both fire and water, carries the essence of these elements in perfect harmony. The silver hand is a Smith & Sun favourite. The fingers are said to embody the five elements that shape both the world and ourselves. The thumb represents fire—the spark of creation and universal consciousness. The index finger embodies air, the element of intellect and individual awareness. The middle finger channels akasha, or ether—the space of connection and spirit. The ring finger grounds us in earth, offering stability and presence. And the little finger flows with water, the realm of emotion, intuition, and adaptability.
Wear it facing outward when you are ready to hold others and receive energies back, and wear it inward when you need to hold energy in and recharge (something we don’t do enough, I think). For myself, I know it’s hard to help others when i'm depleted.
