Green Tara

The most beautiful ring I have made (oh well except for my wedding bands! ooops). UK size M ½  silver sterling ring textured from rocks in Margate, with ball barnacles for texture - Wonderful to run your thumb over and a blazing green tourmaline. My mother (an antiques collector) shortened a pair of tourmaline earrings and gave me three stones. One is for my wife, one was for a silver ring carved with sigils (sold - i  think), one I have still spare and this is this other.  Blazing bright - minds me of the intensity of the Green Tara. Green Tara is famous for her protective power and energy - She  liberates us from the eight dangers, each of which has an outer and inner aspect: the lion of arrogance, elephant of ignorance, fire of anger, snake of jealousy, thieves of wrong views, chain of miserliness, flood of attachment, and carnivorous demon of doubt.
