A hand carved sterling silver bear claw with a silver capped Brandenberg quartz hanging off a vintage belcher chain. The whole piece swings off a vintage silver curb, simple and sassy. This could easily be paired with other talimans of your own.
Bear claws are potent symbols of strength, protection, and primal courage. In many Indigenous and spiritual traditions, they represent the bear's fierce will to survive and its deep connection to the earth. A bear claw symbolizes resilience - the ability to face adversity head-on - and serves as a talisman of healing and inner power, much like the bear itself, which hibernates to heal and emerges renewed. The claw, a part of the beast that defends and gathers, reminds us to stand our ground, defend what matters, and move through the world with grounded confidence. Whether worn as a charm or marked in sigil form, the bear claw calls on the spirit of fierce guardianship and deep, instinctive wisdom.
Brandberg Quartz is a rare, extraordinary quartz found only in the Goboboseb Mountains of Namibia's Brandberg region. Prized for exceptional clarity, each crystal blends amethyst, clear, and smoky quartz - often swirling together within a single formation - with iron-rich lepidocrocite inclusions adding depth and warmth to its appearance. Widely considered one of the most powerful crystals for achieving deep meditative states, it is a favoured tool among practitioners for past-life regression, shamanic journeying, and the clearing of stagnant or negative energies. It is also regarded as a master healer, believed to support mental clarity, emotional equilibrium, and balance.
I don't often get these, as my 3 ethical gem dealers tend not to have stones from this region, but on occasion when they do get some, I try to get what I can! This particular stone is small but mighty, happy and looks like it is sprinkled with glitter.
