Double Terminated (DT) quartz crystal have a termination on both ends. These crystals grow from a ‘seed’ molecule of silicon dioxide and grow outward in both directions. They are not formed on a matrix. 

The energy in these crystals flows in both directions thus have very unique energies - DT's are not only capable of structuring, storing, transmitting and amplifying diverse energies, but being an independent whole, posses extra properties - energy creation and amplification. They are able to absorb energy at one point, undergo a transformative process, and emit it from the opposite end - so are mega balancing.

I carry one to strengthen my aura but they're excellent in promoting psychic ability, dream recall and can be a great aid in  astral projection.
