A pair of earrings, one with a warm bronze hand and the other wise a small piece of driftwood.
More of my multifunctional, “wear-it-your-way” jewellery pieces. I’ve always loved and encouraged a mix-and-match approach to jewellery - blending your own favourites with pieces you’ve collected. These designs bring that idea to life: wear them as charm bracelets, earrings, pendants, clip them to your keychain, or - one of my favourites - loop them through zippers for a little unexpected detail.
Got a Zoom meeting? Wear it as an earring.
Heading on a date? Let it hang on a long chain.
Evoking or conjuring a spirit? Wear it close, as an amulet.
The hand motif represents the five elements within us:
the thumb – fire and universal consciousness,
the index finger – air and individual awareness,
the middle finger – akasha, or connection,
the ring finger – earth,
and the little finger – water.
This particular piece also carries a personal touch - a fragment of driftwood from Third Beach, Washington State, where I’ve spent many summers camping with my family. It’s a small token of that landscape.
