Right kinda Brass

A striking rare 8 sided Starbrary quartz talisman capped in bold brass:  12cm tall and weighing in at 73gm. The size of my palm!

This cosmic communicator is filled with glyphs and etchings and information - it has been hard to let go (Must stop hoarding!)  It’s a gentle giant so high but not frenetic at all- a wonderful crystal to unify your energy. This is a wonderful crystal to pair with others - and oooomf that conscious collective a little ***** I can’t not stress how magnificent this quartz is.  Oooh and I reckon mediting with this crystal might open "doorways”  and really help open yourself up to receive information - take that as you will. It just popped into my brain. As I’m writing this, with the stone in my lap. 

Then we turn to brass - Alloys don’t get as much focus as pure metals in magic. The usual line seems to be that “alloys embody the magical combination of their metals.” But to what degree, and how? There’s also the notion that since naturally occurring alloys are rarer than pure metal, a metal that requires human manipulation to produce has diluted magical power. I don’t think that’s true.  Intentionally creation is powerful.

Brass was introduced around 500 BC.  Brass is made from an alloy of Copper and Zinc, It has a low melting point (900 c); flows when melted which is great, but it is susceptible to stress cracking.  People often request for their jewellery to be made in it, as it looks a lot like 9ct yellow gold, but much more affordable : ) Brass has metaphysical healing properties to boost the immune system and it helps eliminate toxins in the body.   It’s also good for skeleton problems  -  It is know give courage.  Repeated wearing of Brass jewellery pieces will cause them to take on your own body chemistry revealing your personal energy signature.  It oxidises green (vert-de-gris) from long exposer to chemicals, sweat, perfume, air….
